Will America Survive the Satanic 5th Column? A Prophetic Analysis of America’s Moral and Spiritual Collapse

Share

I want to talk about something much deeper than politics. What’s happening in America isn’t just a fight between Republicans and Democrats. We’re seeing a spiritual battle for the soul of our nation. I believe there is a Satanic fifth column in the United States that aims to destroy America, Christianity, Israel, and the Jewish people from within.

So, what is a fifth column? It’s a term for people inside a country who work to weaken and destroy it from within. They infiltrate institutions, influence culture, spread propaganda, create division, and try to undermine the foundations of society.

That’s exactly what we’re seeing in America right now.

Political hatred in our country is reaching dangerous levels. According to a recent report from Front Page Magazine, 85% of Democrats either deny or are unsure that the three assassination attempts against President Trump really happened. Even with eyewitnesses, video, manifestos, court records, and investigations, millions still refuse to believe it.

Why?

Daniel Greenfield says many people don’t want their political side to face consequences or lose public sympathy. They don’t want Trump seen as a martyr or victim because it would hurt the story they’ve built.

Victor Davis Hanson made an incredible observation about the dangerous moment America is now facing. He said, “The president has now been the target of three attempted assassinations in which shots were fired one way or the other. We’ve never had that in the history of the country. We’ve never seen this level of abuse, not against Lincoln, not against Roosevelt, not against LBJ, not against Nixon, not against George Bush.”

Think about that for a moment. America has faced political division and tough elections before, but we’ve never seen this much constant demonization, hatred, and incitement aimed at one political figure in modern times.

Social media influencers are also making dangerous talk seem normal online. People like Hasan Piker, Taylor Lorenz, and others, such as @theotherotherdarius, have spread phrases like “somebody has to do it” about Donald Trump. This phrase, which appeared in early 2025, became a way to suggest that someone should try to assassinate Trump and sacrifice themselves to stop his administration.

This isn’t a normal political debate anymore. It’s making political hatred and radical ideas like murder seem acceptable.

What’s even more dangerous is that many influential people keep comparing political opponents like President Trump to Hitler, tyrants, and enemies of democracy. When unstable people are convinced that someone is pure evil, some will start to think violence is justified.

History proves this repeatedly: The French Revolution, the Bolshevik Revolution, Maoist China, and Nazi Germany.

Revolutionary movements often start by demonizing their opponents, making violence seem acceptable to their followers. That’s why what we’re seeing isn’t just political problems. It’s spiritual darkness taking over a culture that has turned away from truth.

Let me be clear. Christians do not support political violence. We reject hatred, murder, and revenge, no matter what side someone is on. But we also need to see when evil is becoming normalized in our society.

This is where it becomes prophetic. Isaiah 5:20 says: “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness.” We’re seeing our whole culture turn morality upside down right in front of us. Truth is now called misinformation. Biology is called hate speech. Biblical morality is labeled as extremism. Patriotism is called racist. Biblical convictions are described as dangerous.

At the same time, things like open sexual perversion, lawlessness, violence, transgender surgeries for minors, antisemitism, and treasonous rebellion are now being praised as good.

Romans 1 talks about a culture that hides the truth because of wrongdoing. In time, God lets that society fall into a corrupt way of thinking. The pattern in Romans 1 is clear: people reject God, then morality falls apart, then truth is lost, and finally, the culture starts celebrating evil.

And that is exactly where America is right now. This isn’t just political division. It’s a spiritual rebellion against God. Ephesians 6:12 says: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age.”

Behind all this chaos, a spiritual kingdom of darkness is working through human systems. Satan has always tried to destroy nations from the inside. He breaks down families, institutions, morality, education, justice systems, and eventually whole governments.

Look at what has happened in America over the last several decades. Academia has largely been captured by radical leftist ideology. Hollywood promotes rebellion against God. The media pushes division, immorality, and propaganda. The bureaucratic state increasingly operates independently of constitutional restraints. The justice system has become weaponized. Outright criminals are seen as heroes and are never punished for their crimes. Children are being indoctrinated in our public schools, which have turned into Satan’s youth group. Gender confusion is being normalized by parents who need child protective services to be called on them for letting Dr. conduct Frankenstein surgeries so they can cosplay another gender. Marxist ideology is now openly celebrated and desired.  Israel, the Jewish people, and true Bible-believing Christians are demonized.

That’s why so many people feel like they don’t recognize the country they grew up in anymore. Psalm 11:3 asks: “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” The foundations of our society are being taken apart piece by piece. Marriage. Family. Truth. Biology. Patriotism. Biblical morality. Freedom of speech. Religious liberty. All of these things are under attack.

Here’s what Christians need to understand: Satan rarely destroys a civilization by outside invasion first. He usually breaks it down morally and spiritually from the inside before anything happens from outside. That is exactly what happened to ancient Israel. It happened to Rome. It happened to countless civilizations throughout history. Corruption on the inside comes before a society collapses.
Now let’s talk prophetically about the “Days of Noah.” Jesus said in Matthew 24: “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

The Days of Noah were marked by widespread corruption, which was intensified by the actions described in Genesis 6, where the ‘Sons of God’ took the ‘daughters of men’ and produced the Nephilim. This period was characterized by pervasive violence, societal breakdown, and a general departure from moral standards.

Lawlessness became normalized. Violence became accepted. Humanity became spiritually corrupt. People mocked righteousness. People lived for pleasure and power. Does that sound familiar to you?
We are watching a generation increasingly detached from truth, morality, and reality itself.

2 Timothy 3 describes the last days this way: “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy…”

Paul then lists traits like brutality, treachery, lack of self-control, and hatred of good. That passage could be describing today’s news.  Political opponents are no longer merely viewed as people with different opinions. They are viewed as existential enemies that must be destroyed. That’s extremely dangerous. This is what the Days of Noah were like.

When a society dehumanizes its opponents, violence often follows, leading to calls for authoritarian measures to restore order. This environment can pave the way for totalitarian regimes as a perceived solution to ongoing unrest.

Prophecy indicates that the world will eventually accept a global totalitarian system, as described in Revelation 13, which outlines centralized control over commerce, speech, worship, and allegiance. Current developments suggest that groundwork for such a system is being established.

Examples include digital surveillance, AI monitoring, censorship systems, financial tracking, social pressure campaigns, government-media collaboration, and global ideological conformity.
According to First John 2:18: “Even now, many antichrists have come.” This suggests that current systems are preparing the world for future developments described in prophecy.

Now, where does America fit prophetically? Many people ask why America is not mentioned in Bible prophecy concerning the last days.

One possibility is national decline. America could become so weakened morally, spiritually, and politically that it no longer serves as a dominant superpower. Internal corruption, debt, division, and moral collapse could diminish its global influence.

A second possibility is economic collapse. America’s massive debt, reckless spending, inflationary pressures, banking instability, and dependence on a fragile global financial system could eventually trigger a catastrophic collapse that devastates the nation economically and removes its global influence almost overnight.

A third possibility is absorption into a global governance system, as described in Revelation 13. In this scenario, America would surrender national sovereignty to international structures overseeing economics, technology, security, and political control.

A fourth possibility is war. America could be severely weakened or devastated through internal civil conflict, terrorism, cyber warfare, EMP attacks, nuclear conflict, or a major international war involving powers like China, Russia, Iran, or other hostile nations. Scripture indicates that global instability and wars will intensify in the last days.

A fifth possibility is the Rapture. America would be virtually destroyed overnight if millions of Christians and children suddenly disappeared. The economic system, military readiness, transportation networks, healthcare system, communications, and every major institution in the country would be thrown into chaos. Since America still has a large Christian population compared to much of the world, the impact could be catastrophic.

A sixth possibility is judgment. Throughout Scripture, when nations reject God, celebrate evil, persecute righteousness, and shed innocent blood, judgment eventually comes. No civilization in history has survived prolonged moral rebellion against God without consequences, and America is no exception. Throughout Scripture, when nations reject God, celebrate evil, and persecute righteousness, judgment eventually comes. No nation is exempt. Not Israel. Not Babylon. Not Rome. Not America.

Proverbs 14:34 says: “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”

God has uniquely blessed America in the past because of its biblical roots, freedom, and support for Israel. But being blessed doesn’t mean we aren’t accountable. And right now, America is rapidly abandoning its moral foundations as evidenced by the sexual revolution, the abortion industry, the attack on children with trangederism, and the destruction of the family. The normalization of occultism, the hatred toward Christianity, the rise of antisemitism, endless political corruption, violence, and lawlessness. All of these things show that our morals are decaying.

Let me share something important. Do not place your hope in politics.

Politics can’t save America. Only people turning to God and our nation repenting for its wrongs can change our direction. What America needs most isn’t a political revival, but a spiritual revival through faith in Jesus the Messiah. Will that happen? I doubt it. Remember our Master’s words in Matthew 7:13–14:
“For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
The truth is, most people will keep going down the wide road of rebellion against God, while only a few will choose the narrow path that leads to life.

At its core, America’s challenges are spiritual. It seems unlikely that most Americans will reject these influences and return to foundational values. It appears that significant thresholds have already been crossed.

Nevertheless, believers should continue to stand for truth, vote according to their faith, engage in culture, and uphold what is right. This is what it means to be salt and light. However, it is essential to remember that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven.

Philippians 3:20 says: “For our citizenship is in heaven.”
The Church is not called to panic, but to exercise discernment, remain faithful, and proclaim the truth while there is still opportunity.

But here’s the hope in all of this.

Prophecy isn’t meant to scare us. It’s meant to prepare us, strengthen us, and remind us that God is working out His plan to bring Jesus back to rule and reign.

Jesus warned us that these things would happen. So when you see deception increasing, do not be surprised. When you see lawlessness increasing, do not be shocked. When you see hatred intensifying, remember what Scripture already said. But also remember this: God wins in the end. Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, is coming back. The Church will be Raptured. All Israel will be saved. The Antichrist system will not prevail forever. Satan’s kingdom has an expiration date. Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, will establish His kingdom in righteousness through the nation of Israel.

So the real question isn’t just, “Will America survive?” The bigger question is this: Are we spiritually ready for the days ahead? Have we trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation? Are we walking in truth? Are we grounded in Scripture? Are we spiritually discerning? Are we being slat and light? Are we earning rewards for the next life? Are we prepared to stand firm if persecution increases?

The days ahead will need believers who won’t compromise with the Satanic spirit of this dark age.
