There is no manuscript evidence for Muhammad in the 7th century. No complete Quran. No archaeological proof of Mecca. And now, top Muslim scholars are starting to admit it publicly.

In this episode of Tip of the Spear, Brandon Holthaus sits down with Dr. Jay Smith — professor of Islamic Apologetics and Polemics at Veritas International University and one of the leading Christian voices engaging Islam through history, manuscripts, and theology. For over 30 years, Dr. Smith has debated Muslims publicly at London's famous Speaker's Corner and around the world.

In this conversation, Dr. Smith breaks down the three pillars of Islam — the Quran, Muhammad, and Mecca — and explains why the historical evidence behind all three is shockingly thin. He reveals that the earliest manuscripts of Bukhari (Islam's most trusted source for what Muhammad said and did) date not to the 9th century as claimed, but to the 14th and 15th century — up to 800 years after Muhammad's death. He also shares recent admissions from Dr. Yasir Qadi and Dr. Shabir Ali that Western historical scholarship cannot support Islamic tradition, and that Muslims must rely on a "bubble of belief" rather than evidence.

This is a conversation every Christian needs to hear — especially as Islam continues to expand across the West.

• The "three-legged stool" of Islam — and why it's collapsing
• How Christian manuscript evidence compares to Islamic tradition
• Yasir Qadi's stunning admissions about Islamic scholarship
• The 800-year gap between Muhammad and the earliest Bukhari manuscripts
• Why Saudi Arabia's modernization push may reshape Islam from within
• MBS, the Wahhabi collapse, and the geopolitical realignment of the Middle East

Are We in the Kingdom? A Biblical Breakdown with Dr. Andy Woods

Brandon Holthaus views

Are we living in the Kingdom right now… or is it still future?

In this powerful conversation, Pastor Brandon Holthaus sits down with Dr. Andy Woods to unpack one of the most debated topics in theology today: the Kingdom of God, dispensationalism, and the role of Israel in Bible prophecy.

Dr. Woods explains:
• Why we are NOT currently in the Kingdom
• How early church history supported a literal future Kingdom
• What changed with allegorical interpretation
• Whether John Darby really “invented” the rapture
• Why dispensationalism is being aggressively attacked today
• The connection between Israel and the coming Kingdom
• How to respond to accusations of political apathy or extremism

This discussion brings clarity to confusion surrounding Christian nationalism, dominion theology, and the future Kingdom promised in Scripture.

If you’ve ever wondered:
Are we supposed to build the Kingdom now?
What does the Bible actually say about Israel?
Is the rapture a recent invention?

This interview will help you think biblically and clearly.

Guest: Dr. Andy Woods
Senior Pastor, Sugar Land Bible Church
President, Chafer Theological Seminary

The Rapture Is Under Attack… Here’s Why | Dr. Paul Wilkinson

Brandon Holthaus views

In this powerful Tip of the Spear interview, Pastor Brandon Holthaus sits down with theologian and author Dr. Paul Wilkinson to unpack one of the most attacked doctrines in Christianity today—the Rapture.

Why is the “blessed hope” being questioned, mocked, and dismissed even within the church?

Dr. Wilkinson explains:
• Why the Rapture is under intense attack right now
• The clear biblical difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming
• How false theology and inconsistent interpretation have distorted end-times doctrine
• Why imminency matters for every believer’s life and spiritual readiness
• The deeper issue behind the attacks on Israel, dispensationalism, and prophecy

This conversation brings clarity, conviction, and encouragement as we navigate these last days.

As Scripture reminds us:
“When you see these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” (Luke 21:28)
