In this episode of Tip of the Spear, Brandon Holthaus sits down with Dr. Jay Smith — professor of Islamic Apologetics and Polemics at Veritas International University and one of the leading Christian voices engaging Islam through history, manuscripts, and theology. He reveals that the earliest manuscripts of Bukhari (Islam's most trusted source for what Muhammad said and did) date not to the 9th century as claimed, but to the 14th and 15th century — up to 800 years after Muhammad's death. He also shares recent admissions from Dr. Yasir Qadi and Dr. Shabir Ali that Western historical scholarship cannot support Islamic tradition, and that Muslims must rely on a "bubble of belief" rather than evidence.
